Katie McNeel manages office construction and finish-out projects from start to finish, being involved as early as site selection, to effectively oversee the design process, and ensuring that project outcomes meet the tenants’ and owners’ goals and budgets. She is instrumental in developing and coordinating time schedules with multiple trades, leads the vendor selection each project. She evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of all resources to successfully execute the project schedule and meet the clients’ goals. Katie facilitates team management with creative problem solving and excellent organizational and communication skills.


Katie has been active in consultant and project manager roles for over 9 years.  Before joining Transwestern, she served as director of client services for Zielinski Design Associates, coordinating all aspects of multi-component design projects. She was a project manager at Trainor Glass Company, handling major development projects for clients such as the Dallas Arboretum and the new Parkland Hospital. Her prior experience includes work as a design consultant with Bassett Furniture Direct in Virginia and an interior design internship with ForrestPerkins in Dallas.


Katie has volunteered with Dwell with Dignity, a community outreach organization, and participated in ASID community service renovation projects.


Katie received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Dallas.
