Justin Shay is a Vice President with Transwestern's Mid-Atlantic Multifamily Group and is involved in all aspects of the Multifamily Group's activities including business development, transaction management, marketing initiatives, market and comparable research, financial analysis and managing client relationships.


With more than 10 years of experience in the Washington, DC Multifamily Real Estate Industry Justin has been exclusively focused on the Multifamily Investment Sales and involved in the sale of more than 26,000 multifamily units accounting for over $2.5 billion in sales volume.
Prior to joining Transwestern, Justin held various positions with both national and local brokerage firms in the Mid-Atlantic region. Responsibilities included research, analysis, transaction management, marketing/production, managing client relationships and all other aspects of the marketing and sale of multifamily properties.
Among the noteworthy assets Justin has been involved in are: Washington, DC/Northern Virginia Portfolio consisting of 5-properties totaling 1,468-units in Fairfax County, VA; The Chase Apartments at Bethesda Metro, a 122-unit luxury high-rise located in Bethesda, MD; The Dumont, a 559-unit luxury high-rise apartment community located in the Mount Vernon Triangle area of Washington, DC; United Investors Portfolio, a four property portfolio consisting of 1,107 apartments located in Suburban, MD.

Justin earned his Associate Degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia.
