Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Judy Lun, vice president of Property Management, supervises a team that manages a mixed-use portfolio (primarily made up of flex/industrial/warehouse) of approximately 1.5 million square feet in Maryland and Virginia, reporting to both private and institutional owners.  She oversees daily property operations, including vendor coordination, preventive maintenance and tenant relations and ensures timely fulfillment of all financial and operational responsibilities for properties, including rent collection and enforcing lease terms. She also has extensive experience preparing annual operating budgets with recommendations for capital expenditures. Additionally, Judy cultivates personable relationships with tenants through excellent customer service. 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern in 2008, Judy was employed by Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (WRIT) for 11 years. Judy started at WRIT as a property manager and eventually earned the position of director of Property Management for the firm's Office/Medical Division. She directed management of over five million square feet of medical and office building properties located in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, utilizing a staff of 10 property managers. Judy was actively involved in due diligence for potential acquisitions, as well as having involvement in preparing properties for disposition.

Judy is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Institute International, Inc. (BOMI) and former member of the Property Management Association (PMA).

EDUCATION

Judy has earned the Real Property Administrator (RPA), Facilities, Manager Administrator (FMA) designations by the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI).
