Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

As a Vice President, Jonathan oversees operations for office, industrial and flex properties throughout Northern Virginia. He is responsible for creating value, finding efficiencies, repositioning and redeveloping properties where needed, and achieving each client’s investment goals. He supports his team with budget formulation, financial reporting, lease negotiation and genera.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Jonathan joined Transwestern in 2007 and has more than 16 years of real estate experience. His clients include Barings, All Elite Wrestling, CIM Group, DLJ, Guggenheim Partners, Time Equities Inc., and RREEF. Several assignments have included large Class A, owner-occupied properties such as the National Association of Home Builders headquarters in Washington, D.C.
 
He previously managed a 23-building, 1.6 million-square-foot portfolio for West*Group and was instrumental in its partial sale. He also served as a property manager for Gallery Place, a landmark trophy property in the heart of Washington, D.C.’s Chinatown. The operation offered him challenges in retail management, public relations and detailed property accounting.

EDUCATION

Jonathan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management from James Madison University and a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.
