Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Jonathan oversees operations for office, industrial and flex properties throughout Northern Virginia. He is responsible for repositioning and redeveloping properties and achieving the investment goals of each client. He handles vendor contracts, directs engineering staff, formulates budgets, creates monthly reports for his clients and assists with lease negotiations. Jonathan also serves on Transwestern's National Asset Services Operating Committee. 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Jonathan joined Transwestern in 2007 and has more than 10 years of real estate experience. His clients include Barings, CIM Group, DLJ, Guggenheim Partners, and True North Management Group.  Several assignments have included large Class A, owner-occupied properties such as the National Association of Home Builders headquarters building in Washington, D.C.
 
He previously managed a 23-building, 1.6 million-square-foot portfolio for West*Group and was instrumental in its partial sale. Projects at the portfolio included complete rooftop HVAC replacement, basement sewer repair, and extensive water remediation in highly secured government facilities.
 
He also served as a property manager for Gallery Place, a landmark, trophy property in the heart of Washington, D.C.'s Chinatown. The 24/7 operation offered him challenges in retail management, public relations and detailed property accounting.

EDUCATION

Jonathan holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in management from James Madison University and a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.
