As the Financial Manager for Transwestern’s Maryland Industrial Services Team, John Nalley serves as a critical link between the day-to-day property operations and accounting teams, ensuring consistency and accuracy of information on both sides to keep the teams in sync. He serves as the final reviewer for all tenant account reconciliations, owner/property management accounting reports and monthly accruals; identifies variances; and administers the annual budget process.


John has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, including 18 years in commercial property management accounting. Before joining Transwestern in 2018, John served as a senior portfolio accountant at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was responsible for all accounting functions for an approximately 500,000-square-foot portfolio, including maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements, performing audits, reconciling bank accounts, and managing accounts payable and receivable.


John holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Maryland University College.
