As the Research Analyst for Transwestern’s Walnut Creek office, Jerry tracks local, national and global market trends to deliver acute analysis and creative insight needed for all service lines to identify new clients and provide strategic information. He is responsible for market reports; maintaining current and historical statistics; and tracking leases, sales and development projects in the San Francisco East Bay Area marketplace, specifically in the office and multifamily sectors. Jerry works closely with brokerage teams to provide custom client reports, as well as the marketing department to create cutting-edge thought leadership.


Jerry is an East Bay Area native, growing up in Moraga, CA and currently residing in Alamo. Prior to joining Transwestern, Jerry served as the Director of Transfers as well a Financial Analyst/Project Manager at MacKenzie Capital Management in Orinda, CA. He worked at MacKenzie for 19 years and brings with him a wealth of knowledge in the commercial real estate industry. In his roles, he developed effective and successful relationships with sellers, custodians, and broker-dealers, he identified and analyzed hundreds of commercial real estate investments, as well as developed proprietary valuation models based on regulatory disclosures using integrated cash flow and asset valuation models. In addition, he managed 12 investment funds with total capitalization of $45 million. With Jerry’s experience and intimate knowledge of the East Bay Area market, he can take on Transwestern’s philosophy of empowering real estate professionals and their clients to make informed business decisions.


Jerry received his bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis. Jerry also holds his Series 6 and 63 licenses.
