TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Vice President Jennifer Mock manages a portfolio of over 2 million square feet of office and industrial flex properties in Maryland. Her responsibilities include the supervision of a diverse team, day-to-day property operations, financial reporting, budget creation, and construction oversight for all capital improvement and tenant build-outs, including GSA and Department of Defense (DOD) projects. 
 
She works with a variety of both institutional and private investor clients and has been actively involved in acquisitions and dispositions of several large assets. Jennifer is also a member of Transwestern's Emerging Leaders Team, working on a series of national corporate initiatives to support Transwestern's continued growth.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Jennifer has over 15 years of commercial real estate experience representing owners of properties throughout suburban Maryland, Baltimore and Washington, D.C.  Prior to joining Transwestern in 2013, she served as a portfolio manager for Corporate Office Property Trust (COPT) in Columbia, Maryland, where she managed roughly 1.5 million square feet of commercial office space, leased primarily to the DOD and other secure tenants. Jennifer has an extensive background with various U.S. government agencies and holds a Top Secret security clearance.

EDUCATION

Jennifer holds a bachelor's degree from East Carolina University, where she was played softball. She has completed years of continuing education and certifications through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI).
