Jeff joined Transwestern in 2006. Jeff serves as a managing director of Multifamily Services with Transwestern's Investment Services team. Together he and Chris Stutzman have formed the Austin and San Antonio Multifamily Groups, two brokerage teams servicing private and institutional multifamily investors throughout central Texas.
Jeff has specialized in the multifamily real estate sector for 30-plus years. Brokerage through exclusive representation has been his primary focus - closing over 400 multifamily transactions for institutional clients, privately held companies and individuals. Jeff has experienced several real estate cycles and handled REO assets in the late 1980s, as well as in 2003, 2004, 2009 and 2010. Additionally, Jeff's focus includes student properties and infill redevelopment. Jeff's expertise spans the spectrum of investment services, including financial analysis, valuation underwriting, pricing of assets, market statistics, forecasting, and contract negotiations, culminating in his primary goal of complete client satisfaction.
Beginning his real estate career in 1978, Jeff worked for several well established Austin based commercial real estate firms until founding his own company in 1984, which focused on the acquisition and syndication of multifamily assets. In the late 1980's, Jeff became associated with one of the most respected Austin based firms, Synermark, which was acquired in 1999 by the national firm of Kennedy Wilson. Jeff and his business partner, Chris Stutzman, were responsible for the multifamily brokerage division and were the top producing brokers for the company year in and year out.

Jeff obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas in real estate finance, receiving a minor in accounting. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Texas.
