In his role as Senior Vice President of Project Management and Construction Services, James focuses on Project and Development Services to have full responsibility for construction project management service within an assignment, program, or geographic market and will oversee a team of Project Managers. The primary areas of responsibility include ensuring that the projects are on scope, schedule, and budget, and the SVP will be responsible for the financial performance of the project and ensuring that the clients’ needs, and expectations are met. Exhibit legendary customer service when communicating with both internal and external clients, but also to focus on productivity and results.


James has over 30 years of experience specializing in healthcare, commercial, higher education, and industrial projects ranging from $5 million to $I Billion.
Prior to joining Transwestern, James served as healthcare director for AECOM Central Region, This a Global PMCM, Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm, and as operations director for Broaddus & Associates.  In his role with Broaddus & Associates, he was recognized for managing over 1.7 Billion dollars projects building a ground up level one trauma tower, ground up 8 story Acute Cure Hospital, Emergency Center, Imaging, Radiology, Blood Labs, Clean labs, Pharmaceutical, TIRR Rehabilitation unit, Orthopedic unit, Administration offices, Hurricane IKE recovery team, O.R. Suites, Pediatric OR’s, Central plant, Central Sterile while working with Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center The Memorial Hermann The Woodlands. While at JACOBS James Selmser was involved Managing the $500 Million Research Institute for Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.
