TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Jim serves as Partner, City Leader for Transwestern New Jersey’s office. He provides leadership to all service lines, focusing maximizing business development, growth and increasing client satisfaction.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Since joining Transwestern in 2011, Jim has been instrumental in numerous successful comprehensive repositioning of outdated Class-A office buildings with low tenant occupancy, resulting in premier assets. Recently, repositioning programs led to leasing transactions totaling an upwards of 520,000 square feet, including the largest new office lease in the state of New Jersey Q1 2019. Prior, Jim served as Executive Director at Cushman & Wakefield specializing in Tenant Representation, bringing more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience. He has exclusively represented companies worldwide that hold more than 200 million square feet in their portfolios.
 
He also served as a Principal for the Trammel Crow Company of New Jersey, where he was responsible for managing all business lines and creating all business initiatives. He also was responsible for working with the Corporate Services group to win several major global accounts and exponentially grew all major business lines.  During the 9/11 disasters, Jim was responsible for placing over 2,000 employees in new locations within 10 days of the events at Ground Zero for American Express.

EDUCATION

Jim earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre, Directing and Acting from Florida State University. He holds a New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson’s License.
