Jimmy develops leading-edge research and predictive analytics to guide and support real estate investment strategy, asset selection, valuation and portfolio management for Transwestern and its clients. This includes overseeing a comprehensive, integrated approach to research that builds upon the firm’s existing local market insights and proprietary real estate data to produce penetrating thought leadership and positions on important commercial real estate topics. Additionally, as a member of Transwestern’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee, Jimmy helps guide the strategy for the investment management, commercial services and development companies within the Transwestern organization.


Jimmy joined Transwestern from HFF, where as Managing Director he provided in-depth analysis of economic, property and capital market trends for the multifamily, industrial, office, retail, medical office and storage property sectors. Working with pension funds, life insurance companies, regional and CMBS lenders, REITs, foreign investors, and private equity funds, he also produced deal-specific analysis for debt placement and investment sales assignments. During his tenure, he supported the execution of more than 150 commercial real estate transactions totaling more than $4.5 billion in 20 states.
Earlier, working for a bank holding company investing in distressed financial institutions, Jimmy was involved in M&A activity, investor and regulatory relations, corporate governance, and real estate loan portfolio management.
Jimmy has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry with specializations in applied research and finance. He is an active member of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, Urban Land Institute, and Pension Real Estate Association.


Jimmy received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
