Chief Engineer Gary Raymond provides senior engineering oversight for approximately 2.4 million square feet of properties in Northern Virginia. He is responsible for daily operations and maintenance and supervises all building maintenance, construction and renovations.


Gary has 30 years of experience in property management engineering. He began his career as a lead building engineer with Metropolitan Management, where he was responsible for day-to-day operations for two high-rise office buildings in Tysons, Virginia. He then joined Transwestern as a chief engineer before a moving on to a 6-year stint at JBG Smith and finally rejoining Transwestern again in his current role.

Gary has completed the following trainings and certifications: ASE Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Certification; EnergyStar Benchmark Software Training; Indoor Air Quality Training;  CPR and AED Certified through the American Safety and Health Institute; OSHA 10-Hour Training Course; 9-hour homeland security training course at the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 99.
