TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Ed Nash, senior vice president, provides tenant advisory services for local commercial real estate users, as well as corporate advisory services for companies spanning the nation.  He specializes in lease negotiations, financial analysis and lease restructurings in advance of lease expiration. Ed develops a specific strategy for the needs of each client and serves as the direct contact with the landlord and/or landlord's broker during negotiations and discussions, and ensures that the client always reserves the right of final approval of all terms. Ed also provides a solid foundation of contacts made in the DFW business community over the past 45 years to assist in the introduction and development of new clients and prospects.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Ed has been active in commercial real estate in the Dallas-Fort Worth market for more than 24 years. Recent clients include the law firm of McGuire, Craddock & Strother, the CPA and tax firm of KBA Group, the Dallas office of BKD LLP, Park Cities Bank and Hambric Sports Management.
 
Prior to joining Transwestern, Ed served as managing director for McLeodZei Commercial Real Estate Advisors. Ed's background in commercial real estate was built upon a foundation of 22 years in the Dallas commercial banking ndustry, including five years as CEO of National Bank of Commerce of Dallas and subsequently, seven years as CEO of its parent company, BancTexas Group.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Ed is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and a member of the Chancellor's Council of The University of Texas System (2009 - present).
 

EDUCATION

Ed received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in finance and real estate from the University of Texas in Austin.
