TRANSWESTERN ROLE

With over 20 years of experience, Doug is responsible for construction management, business development initiatives and relationship building and retention in support of the firm's agency leasing, tenant advisory, and property management services groups.  In addition, Doug is responsible for marketing and implementing construction management services in new business.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Doug was the director of construction and engineering for Rubenstein Partners.  In that role, Doug was responsible for managing all new construction, interior renovations, CAPEX, tenant and capital improvement projects for 11 office buildings.  In addition, he facilitated contract negotiations for leasing agreements and RFP documents to ensure concise budgetary numbers.  Key projects included: Mercedes Benz (89,910 SF), State Farm (831,000 SF total), AFC Enterprises, Inc. (55,000 SF), Ventyx (55,000 SF), Elekta (77,000 SF), and City of Dunwoody (24,700 SF).   Prior to that, Doug was director at Tishman Speyer and director of construction and engineering at Trizec Properties, Inc.
