Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Dan Brown is an associate who specializes in the representation of both local and national clients in the acquisition, renegotiation, and disposition of office space, focusing primarily in North Dallas, North Central Expressway, and Preston Center submarkets. In this position, Dan performs all aspects of corporate representation, including analysis, strategic planning, market research, site evaluation and selection, tours, proposal requests, comparative analysis, project management, and past occupancy functions. He is also involved in all facets of new business development.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Dan spent 2 years working as an audit associate at KPMG, as well as 2 years working as an analyst for the commercial real estate lending team at Cadence Bank.  Dan started his career at Transwestern by compiling research on over 20 million square feet of Class A and B office space in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
 
Dan has gained valuable knowledge and experience through his work with Transwestern's associate programs. He transitioned into his tenant advisory role representing local and national clients and excels in creating value-add transactions for his team's clients.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Dan is a member of North Texas Commercial Realtors (NTCAR) and Transwestern Young Professionals, and is a Phi Delta Theta alumni.

EDUCATION

Dan received a bachelor's degree in Accountancy with a minor in Finance from the University of Mississippi.
