TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Carlos specializes in the acquisition and disposition of land, free-standing buildings, and multi-tenant. As a former State Certified Real Estate Appraiser, he uses his valuation expertise to advise clients when pricing properties.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Carlos’ 40 years in commercial real estate ranges from land and investment property sales, to valuation and consulting.
 
Prior to joining Transwestern in 2010, he was a shareholder with McDade, Smith, a boutique brokerage firm. He previously held positions with a large commercial brokerage firm, a commercial appraisal firm, and established a brokerage and consulting firm.
 
Carlos has been involved in transactions with, or has represented, Baylor College of Medicine, The Finger Companies, Pelican Builders, Chevron Phillips Chemical, Lennar Homes, KB Homes, and the Menil Foundation. His banking clients have included U.S. Trust, Bank of America, and JP Morgan Chase. He has recently been awarded contracts by:  The City of Houston, Houston Community College, Houston Independent School District, & The Harris Center. Additionally, Carlos has worked with many private equity groups, estates, and institutional clients.
