As Managing Director of Business Development for Asset Services, Brett Williams is responsible for expanding Transwestern’s portfolio throughout the United States. His depth of industry experience and client relationships is his key assets to continue to form new and expand existing client relationships. Additionally, as a member of Transwestern’s board of directors, Brett works with leadership to implement national initiatives, drive new business pursuits, and ensure operational consistency across the state.


Brett worked for Transwestern from 2011 to 2015, and prior to rejoining Transwestern in 2019, Brett was Executive Vice President of Management Services for the Central Region at Madison Marquette, where he oversaw the operations of properties exceeding 40 million square feet. A proven leader in commercial real estate with more than 25 years of experience, he has worked for national firms including Weingarten Realty, Equity Office Properties, and Thomas Properties Group.


Brett is an active member of Building Owners and Managers Association where he has served as President of Houston BOMA (2014/2015),  President of Texas BOMA (2017), and continues to serve on the Board of Directors for Texas BOMA. He is a TOBY International winner, as well as recipient of the Houston BOMA 2009 Principal Member of the Year award and the Houston BOMA 2011 President’s Volunteer of the Year Award.


Brett received a bachelor’s degree in History from Texas Tech University. He is a licensed real estate broker in Texas and has earned his Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
