Michael Weiss

Michael is Vice President - Construction for Transwestern Development Company and is based in Washington. He is responsible for overseeing pre-construction and construction of new development projects.

Michael has over 19 years of experience managing the design and construction of multi-family, office, hospitality, government, retail and mixed-use projects in the Washington metropolitan area.

 

Prior to joining Transwestern in 2022, Michael was a Development Manager at Lerner Enterprises. He also previously held Senior Design and Construction Management roles at JBG SMITH and Vornado/Charles E. Smith. Before his career in commercial real estate development, Michael was a Project Architect at WDG Architecture.

Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from The University of Maryland, College Park.
