TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Kenneth Smondrowski serves as Senior Vice President in Transwestern’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Advisory Services Groups in the Mid-Atlantic. He specializes in working with owners and users of medical office, biotech and lab spaces on agency leasing, tenant representation, investment services and strategic account management. He works closely with each client to understand their requirements and determine the best options based on needs and market conditions, often working in conjunction with the Transwestern National Healthcare platform to provide optimal service.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Ken has been active in commercial real estate in the Mid-Atlantic region for over 20 years and has completed more than 20 million square feet of leasing and sales transactions. Prior to joining Transwestern, he was Vice President at Health-Pro Realty Group (HPRG) where he focused on healthcare-related real estate transactions in the D.C. region.
 
Prior to HPRG, he was Area Director at RMR, overseeing leasing, property management, construction, and engineering in the D.C area. The portfolio that he managed was comprised of over 7.5 million square feet of commercial office space, including eight buildings totaling over one million square feet of medical office space.
 
He has worked with a variety of clients including ADA Science and Research Institute, Integrated Dermatology, Caddis, CWCapital, Foulger-Pratt, Carderock Investments, Saul Centers, Federal Realty, AMI Capital Management, Integrated Pharma, Alexandria Real Estate Equities, St. John Properties, Gosnell Properties, Hill Pediatric Dentistry, Biologic Resources, K&R Properties, The Tower Companies, Integrated Pharma, Theradaptive, Poochon Scientific, Rayus, Standard Wellness and Microbiology International.
