Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Gia is a Vice President for Transwestern Development Company, based in Washington, D.C. In this role, she is responsible for managing active development projects and pursuing new deals.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Since 2017, Gia has led and managed the pursuit, entitlement, and development of over 5 million square feet of mixed-use commercial real estate. Before joining Transwestern, Gia was a Development Manager at Brookfield Properties, responsible for development in the D.C. Metro region, including the Yards, D.C.s premier waterfront neighborhood. Before moving to a career in real estate, Gia worked at Morgan Stanley in New York, where she held multiple roles in the Capital Markets group selling fixed-income and structured products.

EDUCATION

Gia earned a bachelors degree from Villanova University and a masters in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
